Black Caiman caught on River Monsters (Video)

In this clip from River Monsters Season 4 Episode 9, Jeremy Wade is part of a group that captures an 11′  long Black Caiman (Melanosuchus niger) in the Essequibo River. The Black Caiman is a relative to the Alligator and Crocodile but is only found in South America. More specifically the Essequibo River, Amazon River and other freshwater habitats in northern South America. They were once hunted to near extinction but are now listed as conservation dependent.
